Surrender Your Say campaign for the Tourette’s Syndrome Foundation of Canada
A brilliant campaign to raise awareness of Tourette’s, it was the brain child of the team at Saatchi & Saatchi Canada. The simple concept allows Twitter users to relinquish control of their account for 24 hours on the understanding that something embarrassing, offensive, or just plain weird could be tweeted on their behalf! It gives people an understanding of involuntarily losing control over their communication. Although developed for the Canadian Foundation, the campaign went global and has seen a huge pick up in the UK market. We spoke to the Foundation and they reported that the campaign has far exceeded expectations!
